The Ghee Roast it not just any speciality dish! It is Perfection! The masala, ghee and the chicken, all come together to form an Explosion of scintilating flavours in your mouth that will keep you coming back for more and ensure many a midnight craving! Up for something Fishy? Try out Wasabi Sushi!!!

I have been to Most countries around the Globe but my heart has always yearned to travel to Japan and try out some Authentic Sushi! Do not ask me why I have sudden Cravings for Raw Fish, but unlike most people who feel queasy at the thought of eating raw sea food, Sushi somehow seems to stimulate my appetite. The first time I tried Sushi was in Shanghai and I was quite impressed. I can not express how glad I was when I walked into Bareeq al Shatti in Muscat, and saw "Wasabi Sushi" waiting for me there. It had a Unique ambiance which was cosy and inviting, a memento of Japanese Hospitality. It was a warm Welcome Home Gift. However, my mother who was with me at the time swore that she would not cook a single meal for me if I chose to eat there, so I put it off for a later date. A man of my word, I did go to Wasabi Sushi and was utterly confused by the menu. Squid, prawns, octopus, flying fish roe, salmon, eel, crab, avocado, There were so many ingredients used to cook up different types of Sushi, all of which were extremely expensive as well. I decided to take the waiters advice and ordered the Dragon Roll, and though it sounded more Chinese that Japanese, It did not dissapoint! The flavors were exquisite and though it was not very filling, its the perfect place for Sushi lovers and those with a Fearless heart and the love to Experiment! Happy Sushiing! :D Cheers :)

Sandy's Chocolate Laboratory - A Bucketful of Ecstacy just short of blissful Suicide!

Man, I must say that Chennai, as a Foodie Paradise is Improving by the day! Sandy's is the Perfect example of that! Innovative, Smart, Adventurous and Extraordinary! Those are the secret ingredients to Sandy's Extremely Successful Lab. Started by an Engineering Student, blessed with a Sweet tooth, Hearty Parents and the Spirit for Adventure, Sandesh, or Sandy as he is popularly known has spawned Paradise! Not Afraid to Experiment, he took a risk and It has Certainly paid off! Today, Sandys is a Popular name among The Young Chennai Crowd, eager to escape from the seemingly endless heat! But this is no Ordinary ice cream parlor. It is an Incredible medley of Innovation, Originality and Monstrous Madness with a touch of Brilliance!  They also serve some good dishes which are not renowned but are certainly worth a try. They have included a system called the "Black Rock" which gives their customers the opportunity to cook their meals at the table, though I would not advise it Unless you are a good hand with an Apron. Their Hallmark is their Dessert, Especially the "OMG" - A Gigantic Bucket of Sinful Bliss which if attempted by less than 5 people is a sweet shot at suicide. The other desserts are served in test tubes and other containers taking you back to your Chemistry days. Sandy's will hopefully continue to experiment and explore the Unexplored realms of the Chocolate World and come up with new innovations that will Blow our Minds Away. The Best of Both Worlds?

The George-Bin-Laden (aka Big Boy) Burger at Tasty Jones, Chennai Exceeds all Expectations! When my Best Friend and fellow Foodie Rizam told me that I was going to lunch on one of the best burgers id ever eaten, I laughed at the thought! After tasting the Best of Bangalore, I was certain that Chennai would fall short of eternal food glory! But i was mistaken and gladly so! Tasty Jones Stole my Appetite and my Heart as well! Incredibly Reasonable Prices for a Restaurant by the Beach and Wow!! The Ambiance is cosy and the dishes are mouthwatering! For Appetizers, We ordered Chilli Cheese Fries which i have probably tasted at a hundred restaurants but there was something else that caught my attention! Pepper Cheese Fries! That was a first!! and Guess what?? It kicked ass!! Because to my delight, along with it, They served us their delicious, creamy, whipped version of mayonnaise or tartar sauce which was a treat to our taste buds! A Lion could live on that for the rest of its Life! After that The George-bin laden aka Big Boy Burger arrived at our table! It was quite small and not intimidating to look at but after my first bite, I wanted to lean over the table and Hug Rizam!!! Boyy oh Boyyy!!! The Flavour was Exquisite and unlike anything  I had tasted before. The Patty was Juicy, The bun was soft and the Burger was Delightful! Thank you Rizam!! It is a place for which id Go to Chennai a hundred times! A Must Try!! Cheerss :)

Shady, Affordable and Scrumptious! Canton Bar and Restaurant!

Question! What four words do college students pray and look for at the end of the Month ?? Cheap Alcohol and Delicious Food! Canton Bar and Restaurant is the Miracle you were Praying For! Located in Cosmopolitan Jayanagar with a Heathy Market....Canton may not exactly be the right place for your First Date, but if your Girl is not hesitant to get her fingers dirty in a dingy Chinese Restaurant, I suggest you make a trip to Canton! At first glance, it is not a Place you would notice but Once you enter, The Large Crowd of Tipsy Bachelors, and young couples and Middle Class Families enjoying a hearty meal upstairs is proof of its Popularity! Canton certainly cooks up some of the best Chinese food in town! It is especially Famous for Its Spendid Succulent Pork Spare Ribs in Schezuan sauce which i personally guarantee is one of the best pork dishes that I have ever tasted! Apart from that, The Roast Pork is also noteworthy and so are the other trademark Chinese Dishes! If you enjoy a drink with your meal, I suggest you have good company to take you home, because the ambiance is perfect to have one too many! Reasonable Prices, and Great Food, And If you are a Fan of Chinese, This place is soon to become one of your Regulars!.......Cheers :)

Well, Its been more than a month since my last article and Im not Proud of it. My Humble Apologies to any one and every one who has invested their time in checking on or going through my blog but i assure you, That while my absence from blogging on food has been omnious, My Relationship with it has just got bigger, better and Im minutes away from sharing it with the World, So....In Simple Terms......We are Back!! Because..Food....is not just our means of survival........To us....it is much more than that..........It is our Ideology.......It is our Religion......and It is Our Life......So..As I always say,......Dont Eat to Live.....Live to Eat......Next post coming very soon......Cheerss :D
